Moving Mid-Term

Movement between Schools during a given School Term is discouraged, however enquiring families should book a time with our School Principal: Kade Livermore, to discuss your options for transitioning to our School.

Relocations

Families who relocate to the area during the School Term are encouraged to book a time with our School Principal to undertake a School Tour. Families should also bring along any documentation that they might have to support their child's successful transition.

2025 Foundation Enrolments

The Department of Education has released an updated statewide Foundation enrolment timeline for the 2025 school year.

The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation at a Victorian Government Primary School, including Osbornes Flat Primary School. All Government Primary Schools will follow the timeline in 2024 to support Foundation enrolments for the 2025 school year. 

Enquires for families and carers wishing to seek enrolment will need to complete an enrolment enquiry using the above enrolment enquiry form link. 

For existing OFPS families with siblings starting in 2025, enrolment information will be communicated through Compass and email. Communication regarding your process will be sent directly through school and your eldest child. 

What you need to know about the Enrolment Timeline:

1. Register for a School Tour.
2. You can the enrol your child/ren in Foundation for 2025 at Osbornes Flat Primary School from 1st May 2024.
3. Collect enrolment forms, provided to you at you School Tour. The Enrolment Pack contains a number of important documents that must be carefully read, completed, signed and returned to our School Office.
4. Submit your enrolment forms to Osbornes Flat Primary School for Foundation enrolment by Friday 26th July 2024 (please note that as we are a small school, we accept enrolments throughout the year).
5. Upon submitting your enrolment forms, we will enter them into our system as soon as possible, and notify you of the acceptance of your enrolment by email.
6. Take part in enrolment information and transition sessions during Term 4 2024. 
7. Prepare your child to start Foundation from Wednesday 29th January 2025.

Our School Zone

Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.

Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.

Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, outside of their zone, if the sought after school has available space and resources to accommodate the student's enrolment.

Please note that Osbornes Flat Primary School holds many available spaces for prospective enrolments across every year level
