2026 Foundation Enrolment
The Department of Education has released an updated statewide Foundation enrolment timeline for the 2026 school year. The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation at a Victorian Government Primary School, including Osbornes Flat Primary School. All Government Primary Schools will follow the timeline in 2025 to support Foundation enrolments for the 2026 school year.
Enquires for families and carers wishing to seek enrolment will need to complete an enrolment enquiry, see link below. For existing OFPS families with siblings starting in 2026, enrolment information will be communicated through Compass and email. Communication regarding your process will be sent directly through school and your eldest child.
Moving Mid-Term
Movement between Schools during a given School Term is discouraged, however enquiring families should book a time with our School Principal: Kade Livermore, to discuss your options for transitioning to our School.
Relocations
Families who relocate to the area during the School Term are encouraged to book a time with our School Principal to undertake a School Tour. Families should also bring along any documentation that they might have to support their child's successful transition to our school.
Parent Payments
Under the Department of Education’s Parent Payments Policy, Victorian government schools are required to provide transparent information to their school community on voluntary parent/carer contributions.

School Zones
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones.
Students residing in our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address. Our school also has additional capacity available to welcome students who are outside of our school zone.
Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.
